This annual community wide reading event is accompanied by the works of over 20 artists who each read the book and create a painting from the story. The collection of artworks start at Lakewood Center for the Arts in Lake Oswego and then travel around the state for the rest of the year. This year I painted “Cache” which depicts the underground storage where the seeds and other harvested crops were stored securely. Artists will be presenting their paintings at Lakewood Center on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 7pm. The author, Diane Wilson will do an author presentation on Tuesday, April 25 at 7 pm.
