Three local artists share a passion for depicting local scenery viewed from both a broad perspective to the tiniest detail often left unnoticed. Impassioned by the flora and fauna of the outdoors, artists Jan Rimerman, Jani Hoberg and Lisa Wiser share common roots in their hometown of Lake Oswego, growing up near the shores of Oswego lake. Intrigued and inspired by the motion of water and what lies beneath along with the love of forests and what rests above, they discovered a harmony of repeated themes in their work.

“Three Squared:  Line, Layers and Light” came about when the three artists determined that an exhibit collaboration would be an opportunity to create an exhibition with an impressive and cohesive visual impact. To enhance the exhibit theme, all work has been executed on a square format in varying sizes.
